TURUK MDM / Security & data

The data Turuk uses

What device management collects, administrator permissions and the storage details to confirm before onboarding.

Device and work information

Turuk processes identifiers, model, OS version, last contact and available app, network and security information. Depending on the OS and features used, this may include serial numbers, IMEI and location. Accounts, groups, documents, news, tickets and acknowledgements are also stored.

Administrator access

Administrators view information and take actions within their assigned permissions. Roles define access to sections; scopes can restrict groups and platforms. Multifactor authentication settings are available for console sign-in.

Screen viewing and acknowledgements

To share an iPhone or iPad screen through Companion, the employee starts broadcasting and approves the system prompt. This does not provide remote tap control. Mac connections use system Screen Sharing over a local network or VPN, not the browser. Document acknowledgement requires a separate action: opening the file is not an acknowledgement.

Hosting and backups

The current deployment uses servers in AWS Canada Central. The locations of the primary database and backups, and their retention periods, have not yet been confirmed. Confirm these details before submitting work data; the product’s Canadian origin alone does not establish them.

Deletion and access removal

Administrators can disable a document, change its assignment or delete its record. Deleting a record, ending management and wiping a device are different actions. Organization-wide deletion procedures, including backup removal, need separate confirmation; immediate deletion of every copy is not promised.
